Corrosion kills. Dirt and grime clogs your coils and chokes your AC unit. Not any more. The Corrosion Protection Package uses technology that creates a protective shield around your metal fins, coils and pipes.

Corrosion Grenade protects metal parts by acting as a “sacrificial anode.” It corrodes instead of expensive AC parts like aluminum fins, copper piping, and galvanized steel. The marine and plumbing industries have been using “sacrificial anodes” for decades to protect other functional parts from galvanic corrosion. By adding the Corrosion Grenade to the assembly, the zinc becomes the weakest metal and therefore, is the one that corrodes.

‍Cal-Shield® allows the coil to operate for longer periods between cleaning. After Cal-Shield is applied to the cleaned coil, it forms a protective shield that helps the coil resist the depositing of dirt and grime so that moisture will “bead up” and run off. This enables the coil to perform more efficiently for a longer period of time. And, where coils are installed in salt air, the coating will extend the coil’s service life in this corrosive environment.
